Help bring the festival to life by volunteering your time and energy! As we celebrate our 52nd year, we’re looking for dedicated community members to help us share the joy of Japanese culture with thousands of attendees. Whether you’re behind the scenes or front and center, your support makes this event possible.

Volunteer Roles

We have a variety of roles available for all interests and abilities:

• Event Setup – Assist with setting up chairs, tables, and signage

• Marketplace Support – Help vendors move merchandise, set up booths, and manage trash/recycling

• Festival Runners – Run errands, update signage, check in on vendors, and support site logistics

• Greeters – Welcome guests, answer questions, and provide directions

• Kids’ Craft Helpers – Assist children with crafts and replenish supplies (note: parents must stay with children)

• Stage Support – Help manage performer check-in, green room setup, and stage prep
